Aperture



Aperture, in other words, is the pupil of the camera. The bigger it is, the wider you can see but comes out blurry the farther you try to see. The smaller it is, the clearer you can see at a distance.
The first picture has a small aperture which makes everything but the subject blurry. The second has a large aperture which makes the whole photo have a soft feel to it.
